The Luberon destination is an exceptional area that is at the same time magnificent, sporty, cultural and gourmet! Its hilly landscapes worthy of the great American national parks, its perched villages, its Provencal kitchen with sun-drenched flavors, its rich architectural and historical heritage, its multiple hiking and biking routes, make it a destination of choice!

Our nomadic village, located on the Aire Naturelle du Camping sous les Etoiles,, is the ideal base camp to explore the surroundings. You won’t be left untouched by this discovery!

DESCRIPTION

Located near the Astronomy Center and the Observatory of Haute Provence, the place favors calm and nature. The exceptional night sky, in the heart of a wooded area of 12 hectares, will delight visitors in search of escape and disconnection. Embark on a true celestial exploration by day and by night !

THE LODGES

Discover our Lodges designed in a nomadic, exploratory style, with an “Out of Africa” touch. Accommodate up to 6 people in the same lodge and live an original adventure with friends, family or lovers. The interior and exterior furnishings will provide you with the comfort you need to stay as serenely as possible. The quality bedding will remind you that our know-how is first and foremost a hotel.

PRACTICAL INFORMATIONS

Bed linen

Our concept is above all hotel-like and we wish to guarantee you the best possible sleep. For this, each bed is equipped with mattress / pillow / comforter protectors. You are welcome to bring your own bedding. Otherwise, we offer you the possibility to rent a bedding kit for single bed at 10€ and double bed at 15€. This kit includes: fitted sheet, flat sheet, comforter cover, pillow cases, towels, plaids. For those who wish to bring their own bedding, here are the dimensions of the sheets: Double bed: 160 x 190 x 18 ; Single bed: 80 x 190 x 18 ; Single comforter: 140 x 200 ; Double comforter: 220 x 240

With a view on nature - Shared toilets composed of 5 showers and 5 WC. Clean and functional, brush your teeth with a breathtaking view of the Luberon sky, a moment that is bound to be magical !

Dining area

Just like home - Le 100 étoiles offers breakfast as well as a choice of snacks and dinner à la carte! Located 500 meters from the tents, a lounge area is also available for guests wishing to picnic or have breakfast.

Access for people with reduced mobility

We do our best to make our concept accessible to all types of people. The access ramps as well as the PMR bathrooms have been adapted accordingly. Do not hesitate to send us your special requests.

Pets

Our little friends are welcome as long as they are calm and docile! However, due to bad experiences, we cannot accept them inside the lodges. Therefore, you will be asked to bring along something to tie them up outside.

By car : St-Michel-l'Observatoire is 1H from Aix-en-Provence, 1H30 from Avignon, 3H30 from Lyon, 1H15 from Marseille - By train : Take the train to the TGV station of Aix-en-Provence or Avignon then take the bus to Forcalquier with the Lignes Express Régionales L.E.R. - By plane : Marseille-Provence International Airport is 1H15

Booking a Lodge

To make a booking, click on the book button.  Reservations for individuals are now open for the July / August period.  For the period of May / June, the reservations will open from April.  For September, bookings will open in June.

Opening period

The Nature Camp Luberon is open from 23 May to the end of September.

Number of nights

It is possible to stay overnight in our camps except during the high season between 15 July and 21 August (2 nights minimum).

Group stay

It is possible to privatize the Lodging village which can accommodate up to 130 people. See privatisation tab

OPINION OF OUR ADVENTURERS

Great stay at the lodge, the site is really nice and quiet. The tents are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant is great, both at breakfast and in the evening you can eat very well in a relaxed atmosphere in the middle of nature. Special mention to the staff of the lodge and the restaurant who are very friendly and welcoming.

We spent 4 nights in a tent for 2 adults and 2 children. Very original, the children and ourselves enjoyed it very much: fantastic sky with an unbeatable view of the Milky Way and shooting stars. We slept well, even though it was 38 degrees during the day. The toilets were clean, spacious and there were no queues, nothing to complain about. We were able to spend an evening at the astronomy center next door, looking at Jupiter, Saturn, the moon and nebulae. Lots of great walks to do in the area.

A haven of peace among the trees. Third visit here for us and never disappointed! The calm, the nature, the comfort everything is gathered to spend an atypical and unforgettable visit
